They offer reasonable timescales for assessments, which comply with the new 26 week requirements in care proceedings, and file their reports on time. CTC have the added bonus of having their own Centre, which means that families who are being assessed within court proceedings are able to undergo that assessment in calm, comfortable surroundings. This also allows CTC to conduct a more comprehensive assessment, utilising a full day, without causing undue stress to the participants.
